Popular Science Covered Prescription for “Sitting Disease” in 1941

Popular Science ran a piece on sitting disease before it even existed.

Dr. James Levine was the first person to identify the problems related to sitting too much as “sitting disease.” But long before he gave the problem a catchy name, we understood the health risks and knew that small activity breaks made a difference.
